Casa no Castelo,
Lisboa

This interior design and architecture project is focused on the restoration of a partially demolished historic building, with an emphasis on preserving and enhancing the original elements that had survived over time. Although the interior had been largely stripped back, existing architectural features, including original walls and other details, were carefully recovered and reintegrated, preserving the identity and memory of the space.

The interiors were conceived as an extension of this approach: to enhance the original architecture without competing with it. Through a considered selection of materials, colours, furniture and decorative pieces, the design brings out the texture, scale and character of the existing elements, allowing the new intervention to blend naturally with the old and enabling the pre-existing architecture to remain the true protagonist.
