House in the city,
Príncipe Real

This 638.45 m² residence, located in Príncipe Real, Lisbon, it is the result of an architectural renovation and interior design project aimed at restoring and highlight the identity of a Pombaline building, balancing the preservation of its architectural elements with contemporary demands for comfort and functionality. The layout of the spaces stems from a careful consideration of the existing structure and the clients’ lifestyle, defining a functional layout that respects the building’s heritage while responding to new ways of living.

The entire house was conceived as a world of its own, where colors, materials, and textures interact freely and harmoniously, without the imposition of a rigid style or color palette. The combination of the owner’s personal pieces, elements from different eras and styles, contemporary design, and pieces designed specifically for the project lends authenticity and personality to each room, creating an eclectic, comfortable, and timeless home where heritage and modernity coexist naturally.
