Beach house,
Comporta

his architecture and interior design project offers a contemporary interpretation of the Comporta lifestyle, rooted in simplicity, natural light, and a deep connection with the surrounding landscape. Carefully positioned to ensure privacy and tranquillity, the house opens towards the pine forest to the west, establishing a seamless relationship with its natural setting. Large openings and generous pergolas create a fluid continuity between the interior and exterior, shaping a relaxed environment designed for gathering, sharing, and enjoying life with family and friends.

Drawing inspiration from the traditional huts of Comporta, the project reinterprets vernacular elements and materials, such as thatch, timber, and natural stone, through a refined and timeless architectural language. A palette of soft, earthy tones is complemented by natural textures and understated details, while the landscape is designed to merge seamlessly with the existing terrain. The result is a discreet and welcoming home, where architecture, interiors, and nature come together in a quiet and harmonious dialogue with the spirit of Comporta.
