This interior architecture project transforms the former Comporta Hunting Pavilion into a home, preserving its original architecture while giving it a new use and identity. The existing supporting structures and infrastructure are maintained as an essential part of the project, reinforcing its connection to the original character of the place. The swimming pool, conceived as a lake, becomes one of the defining elements of the house and its relationship with the surrounding landscape.

The interiors follow a timeless and understated approach, with a relaxed, beach-inspired atmosphere that reflects the spirit of Comporta. The decoration is intentionally unpretentious, creating spaces that feel natural, informal and connected to the landscape.
